Why is a batch ID required when submitting a sample for free testing?

Finnrick publishes free test results so the public can compare vendors and make informed decisions. Without a batch ID, a published result can't be tied to a specific production run — which makes it far less useful to anyone reading it.

Requiring batch IDs ensures that every published result is traceable and comparable. If your sample does not have a batch ID, or you prefer not to share it, you can still get it tested by selecting the "private" option or any paid add-on.
