Why is my sample marked "Test received from lab", but shows no results?

Your sample's Certificate of Analysis (COA) has already been returned by the lab, but it just hasn't been published to your account yet, and you haven't received an email notification. Here's why, and what to expect.

What "Test received from lab" means

Once a lab completes testing, we work to publish the COA to your shipment page as quickly as possible. In most cases this happens automatically within a short window of receiving the report.

In some cases, a COA is automatically flagged by our internal review process before it goes live. This isn't a sign that anything is wrong with your sample or your results, it simply means we're taking a closer look before publishing. While this review is underway, your shipment page will show the status "Test received from lab" rather than provide a link to your full report.

How long does this take?

Manual review for a COA that is ready for publishing typically adds an extra business day on top of the normal turnaround.

In some cases, a COA might need to be reviewed by the lab, in which case it will take a little longer.

You don't need to do anything, and you will receive an email notification as soon as the review is complete, and you don't need to resubmit or re-request anything.

Still waiting after a few days?

If your shipment has shown "Test received from lab" for longer than a few days, reach out to our support team with your shipment ID and we'll look into it.
